Silverlight installation is screwing up.,

ANSWERED

Silverlight installation is screwing up.,

Hi,

I am trying to watch American Restoration, but it says I need to upgrade Silverlight.

When I do, at the end of the installation, it says I already have a 16 bit version,

and so I am left stuck.

Can someone please fix this or tell me how to get around this?

thanks

Re: Silverlight installation is screwing up.,

Hi,

Thank you, got it to work.

At first I could not find Silverlight in the list of installed

programs, until I realized it was a Microsoft program.

Wow.. this is surprising... if when I was working as

for a fairly big SW company, I had developed

such a poor installation program, I probably

would be sent packing!

You might want to contact MS and tell them

how poor the update installation program.

These days there really is no excuse for

any major SW firm (MICROSOFT?????) to

release update programs that don't check

for previous versions!

anyways, thank you for your help!

Regards,

Daniel Delgado

Completely uninstall Silverlight and then try again. It should now no longer tell you that you have it installed already.

Let me know the results.

Thanks,
