Silverlight Update

Silverlight Update

I am using Windows 9 with a Google Chrome Browser and receive a error message asking me to upgrade the Microsoft Silverlight plugin.  When I click on the provided link to upgrade I receive a message that states "unable to install silverlight.  A 64 bit version of silverlight is already installed."

I have uninstalled and reinstalled silverlight and it doesn't change the messages.

Thanks for your help

Try uninstalling Silverlight first then try installing it again. To uninstall:

  1. Close your Internet browser.
  2. Click Start and select Control Panel.
  3. Select Uninstall a Program.
  4. Choose Microsoft Silverlight.
  5. Click on Uninstall.
  6. Click YES to Uninstall Microsoft Silverlight.

Let me know the results.

Thanks,
Joe
