Sign out of TV app

Sign out of TV app

I downloaded the Xfinity TV app and signed in as required to schedule a DVR recording.  I can't find a way to sign out.  I do not like signing into apps that I cannot sign out of when desired.  Please help!

Re: Sign out of TV app

Go to Settings in the app, click "Sign Out".

Not sure why you keep wanting to sign in and out of the app. That is the convenience of being signed in. To each his own I guess.

Re: Sign out of TV app

I have searched for settings and a "sign out" button it the app, but cannot find one.  Where is "settings"?

Re: Sign out of TV app

On the Android version of the app, click the menu (upper left corner), then go the bottom and click the gear icon. Basically same place on Apple versions (see image).

Thanks.  Kinda thought that is where it should be, and I tried that, but on my I-pad, I touch the gear and it does nothing.  All other links work fine.  Think I will delete the app and try reloading.

I just clicked on the gear icon on my original iPad and it brought up the menu.

Have you tried exiting the app and selecting it again?

Deleted the app and reloaded.  Worked fine.  Thanks all for your help.  I will probably only use the app a couple times a month to manage my DVR.  That's why I prefer not staying logged in!

Glad that worked.  You can also use the XFINITY TV Remote app to manage your DVR.  Some find that app easier for this type of use.
