Samsung TV component video doesn't work with Comcast box

Hi, I just installed Samsung UHD TV (49MU6290 model) and connected the RGB from the cable box (not HD) to the component video of the TV.  I get black and white picture and it is grainy.    Is this a comcast box issue?

Your cable box doesn’t have RGB connections. Look at your tv and make sure the same color that’s in yellow on the cable box is in green on your tv ( check with your tv manual that it is indeed green), or yellow if it’s there.
