Rewind not Supported after PIN purchase set up

Rewind not Supported after PIN purchase set up

Used to be able to pause and rewind live tv on our 2nd box...then I set up a purchase PIN to avoid unexpected charges on this boxtop and now the feature is unsupported. This unsupported message has shown up before but only for a few moments...have tried restarting...refreshing...and powercycling the box...no luck at all...the message persists. Any ideas how to get this feature back?

Need model numbers and more details.

Have you tried removing the PIN lock to see if this might be a coincidence???

I did...I've tried variations of restarting and refreshing and powercycling with the PIN off but the feature is gone.🙁

I don't have an XiD-P; can you test rewind on other programs?

That is correct...rewind and FF still working on in Demand programs...this fuctionality just stopped working on the live tv...everything else is fine.

If it's an Xi series box, the SD card could be the problem. Unplug and reboot the box. During that time, remove and reinstall the SD card. If that doesn't help, the SD card or the box itself is probably defective.

There's no SD card to remove on the XiD, try to reboot both main box and the XiD. In your original post, you said it happened in the past. It's possible the box was already failing.

Just got the box in August...did Restart on main box...same sad result...ultimately might have to swap out this box. Thanks for all the replies.
