Remote

I have tried to pair my remote for volume and to turn tv off and on. The codes never came up on the screen as originally noted. I tried all the various numbers I get all the green flashes as explained but nothing ever happens.

there is a 2 or 3 part procedure to pairing the new X11 remote to your set top box. For voice to work the remote must be RF paired and it is the first step in setting up the remote. you press the setup button until the LED on the remote changes to green then press the Xfinity button and three boxes will appears on the screen along with the 3 numbers you must type. When you type those 3 numbers the remote will be RF paired to the set top box and the voice control will work. The step by step programming then allows you to set up your remote to change volume, mute, and turn the TV off/on. The set top box will usually provide the numbers to test your remote to work with your brand of TV. AFter that is working, if you have an audio device to be paired the set top box will try to help you to also set up the remote for using that device.
