Remote control app stopped working, won't load channel guide

I'm using the Xfinity remote app on Android Galaxy Tab. I've used it for over a year with no problems until last week. The channel guide will not load and I can't change channels manually -- just says "sorry an error occurred." I tried updating it hoping that would fix it, but nope.

Help? The "Help and Support" troubleshooting link (somewhat hilariously) goes to a "404 Not Found" page.
