Remote App for IPAD availability in Merrimack NH?

I asked this a while back. I have an Cisco RNG150N cable box, which I was told is compatibile with

the Ipad remote app that lets me remotely control my tv with the Ipad.

Yet it says does not see any useable devices when I run the app.

Is this still not available in the 03054 area ?!?

DVR Manager is expected to be available to all of our Scientific-Atlanta and Cisco branded DVRs in the near future.

We have already started the site by site activation (DVR Manager requires some additional new guide software and some infrastructure to be activated).

The box Cisco RNG150N I have is not a DVR, will the remote app functionality still be available to me?

you will not have any functions for the my dvr manager as its used with a dvr only.   what exactly are you trying to get with this?  do you have the remote app that lets you watch on demand on your smartphone and tablet??  without a dvr your just turning the ipad into a remote to change the channel.

Go here and look under Diagnostic Information. Any box that says "Test" to the left of the name of your box will be eligible.

Yes that's all I want. To be able to use my Ipad as a remote control for the TV.

I find it (I think) a lot easier to navigate than the guid on the TV

I clicked on the link and didn't see anything with "test" to the left of it.

The cable box I have Cisco RNG150N (I think its and "N" maybe not) does not have a DVR. Its just

a cable box that gives me HD TV channels. I really like the idea of being able to change the channel

on my TV by using the new app on my IPAD.

I am hoping that I will be able to do this with the equipment I have. The app always says "No eligible devices".

Is this because I do not have the correct equipment (cable box)? or is this functionalilty not yet available in the 03054 area?

your box will be able to work when you get the upgrade

this is where your boxes will show up.

What is the "upgrade" ? Is this when the service will become available in my area (if so when ?) ? Or is there something I need to do to get this?

Re: Remote App for IPAD availability in Merrimack NH?

sorry I thought I posted this before.  see below.   The SA Cisco market is suppose to be upgraded to the dvr manager and caller id on the tv along with other things by the end of march.  That is when you will have access to control your tv with your ipad.   See this link comcast ted posted some timelines there also.
