Is there an update on this. I also have a Samsung TV and having audio dropping issues. I have been searching and searching the internet for a solution. It's been happening for 2 years and so far this is the most recent news I have found. Please help me to know how to resolve the dropout issue if there is even a resolution.

Considering that Comcast sent out fixes in July for the audio drop outs, you many want to consider having Comcast send a tech out to give your signal levels a thorough check up.

 

X1 boxes have proven to be extremely signal sensitive. Audio drop outs could easily be caused by deficient signal levels.
