Thanks for the information...

Any idea on why I am only seeing these channel choices instead of the full palette that I normally see?

a good first stop to clear up that kind of problem is pressing the "A" button on the remote and selecting and performing an account refresh.

Re: Channel guide not loading on PC

I am not sure just where to perform this reset.  Here are the options that I see when I slect the "A" button on my remote:

would you check the model number of that set top box? It does not appear to be X1 equipment. I'm guessing that it is an Xi3 in the role of a DTA (IPTV delivery of basic channels).

Re: Channel guide not loading on PC

This is a Motorola MOR200BN...HD/DVR STB.

It is not X1...

Can I assume that the account refresh thT YOU MENTIONED is not an option on this model?

Thanks,

GKG

I moved your post to the correct non-X1 equipment area of the forum. You accidently posted on the X1 section of the forum.

Re: Channel guide not loading on PC

I do not understand why my inquiry was moved...

My only question involves the Live TV website..tv.xfinity.com...it has nothing to do with X1 vs. non-X1 service...that was only referenced as a way to "refresh" my settings...

My issue is accessing the Live TV Stream from my mac computer...

hopefully an Xfinity (non-X1) expert or Comcast Employee can assist. I wasn't aware that Xfinity (non-X!) could watch live TV on a PC. It is part of the X1 Entertainment system advertising.

non-x1 can watch:

What You'll Need

  • XFINITY TV (X1, non-X1 or XFINITY Stream package)
  • Cloud-based service to use DVR functions
  • A computer and web browser that meet the system requirements for the XFINITY Stream portal
  • Your XFINITY username and password
  • Connection to a Comcast cable modem or wireless gateway for in-home XFINITY Stream package service; to access your Cloud recordings or watch TV Everywhere programming, you'll need an Internet connection

If you're writing about only getting CMT and a couple of other channels, see ComcastDan's post here:
