Problems with iPad xfinity tv app

I keep getting a video error message on my iPad saying the amount of allowed devices streaming has been reached, and to continue, I need to remove devices. Problem is, the only device we use and have the app installed on is the iPad. Any idea how to fix the issue?

I am also having issues with the app. It works great for 5-10 minutes and then a video access error message pops up. It says "Sorry, we've experienced some difficulties playing your video." It happens no matter what show or movie I watch. I go to restart the video and flashes the video for one second and then goes black without any error message. Restarting the video from the beginning gets to the same point and then cuts off.
