Poor Online Video Quality

Poor Online Video Quality

I travel and have been using Netflix to watch Movies on my computer with great results -- no problems.  I just started using Xfinity to view online shows.  Unfortunately the Xfinity video quality is so poor it is frustrating.  Poor quality video, stops, starts and skips video in between. 

 

As a test I watched Vanity Fair on Netflix and it was smooth with no problems.  I tried Vanity Fair on Xfinity with the same resulting blurred picture, stopping and starting problems. The video quality was set to auto and changing it did not improve anything.

 

I use Firefox and logged out to try the Chrome browser.  However, could never bring anything up on Chrome because the messages stated "Obtaining Authorization."  Although it logged me it no access was ever achieved.  I made sure I was logged out of Firefox and restarted my computer.  Tried Chrome again with same message.

 

 

Please advise any fixes.  Thank you.
