Pixelation

Pixelation

Hi everyone,

For the past while we've been having fairly significant pixelation issues on a handful of channels (it may be more channels; I have not tested them all).  It only occurs on boxes utilizing the X1 service; one of our TV's uses the "basic" cable box, and that one does not have the pixelation problem.  The issue has become fairly persistent, and though it will sometimes clean up for a while, the pixelation inevitably happens again.  It seems to happen at all times of day, with no specific pattern.

I've run through all the suggestions on Comcast's website (rebooting the boxes, ensuring the connections are tight, etc.), and nothing has helped.  Our service was set up just over a year ago, and the serviceman who did the install got new wires run to our house from the box outside, as he said what we'd had was out of date (the house is 15 years old).  If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears, and thanks in advance for the help.

Have a tech out to troubleshoot the frequency of the channels that you're having issues with, it can't be done remotely.
