On-line TV series availability ends overnight?

On-line TV series availability ends overnight?

Totally frustrating! I watched the first two episodes of Season 4 of "The Walking Dead" late last night. By this morning, the only season available is Season 1 and its first three episodes!!

There was no expiration date on Season 4. It is just taken down without any warning. This has happened numerous times with other shows too. So sick of Xfinity and its crazy on-line TV viewing!

Re: On-line TV series availability ends overnight?

Availability of content on XfinityTV is controlled by the programmers based on contractual rights. - in this case AMC Networks does not provide The Walking Dead for long periods of time.

fwiw: Most Tv series can be viewed online directly at the Tv networks web sites

Thank you! I looked it up and AMC is having a Walking Dead marathon on the 1st.

Still, I am annoyed by overnight TV series wipes by Xfinity so I hope customer service explains this to me. I pay a lot of money for On-Demand and think I should be getting my money's worth.

Note that the "Walking Dead" marathon begins tomorrow morning, Tuesday 12/31.

What ever you do, do not upgrade to Xfinity To Go, it does not work. It times out every 2 seconds and Xfinity does not have engineers that can fix this simple problem.

Thanks, Bruce! I've set all of Season 4 to record so I'm all set.

Re: On-line TV series availability ends overnight?

Hey Tony, thanks for the reply. Usually it will say "Expires on XX date."  At least on the TV but maybe that's not the case on my computer program.

Agree. Totally sucks on performance AND on show/movie offerings.
