On demand

On demand

New customer and very unhappy. Can't access on-demand when I hook up internet. Unhook Internet and I can access just fine. Checked all connections. Called Comcast several times. No help. I just got my internet box 2 days ago. I believe the splitter is bad and they won't send me another one. Said I have to find an xfinity store and go there to get one. I might as well just go out and buy one.

Re: On demand

It's not the splitter, the upstream signal is too high for On Demand to function properly. Remove any extra/unnecessary splitters or reconfigure what you have. If you can't, call for a tech to troubleshoot further. However you have it set up right now, the modem is way out of spec to function properly.

Re: On demand

Hi Mckayps, I can confirm I am still showing your signals out of spec, and if you tried the troubleshooting steps ComcastAndrew provided above, please send me a private message with your account information (Name on account, address on account and account number) and I will assist getting a technician visit scheduled.

Thank you
