New Xfinity cable box is too complicated for elderly users

I've tried for the past two months to learn to use the new xfinity cable box but, at 87 years old I'm just not capable of dealing with all of the on-screen menues and voice-activiations.  This method of controling the cable box was clearly designed for the young.  Is there any way of returning to my old cable box that had buttons on the remote for all of the tasks I needed?

at nearly 65 I'm not far behind. I find the x1 remarkably simple to use especially the remote with voice control. That said, comcast offers a DTA device with a simple remote but only gets the basic cable package but you can include the HD versions of channels with the DTA. (digital transport adapter).

Hi John324, I apologize for your experiences with our X1 system. If you are still wanting legacy equipment please respond to my private message and we can get a technician out to install this for you or I can get legacy equipment shipped to you.

Thank you
