Re: Getting Error 6030 when viewing certain videos

I forgot to put that I HAD started watching Green Lantern, and about 10 minutes in the picture started to freeze, then completely locked up. After that is when I started not being able to see the video at all due to Error 6030.

Re: Getting Error 6030 when viewing certain videos

Hi there,

I again tried to access another program X-Men: First Class and got the same issue: http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/movies/X-Men%3A-First-Class/158577/2202643712/X-Men%3A-First-Class-(HBO...

This is NOT every video I want to look at, only certain ones such as what I've already listed. Again, I tried accessing this week's Young Justice http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/tv/Young-Justice/106965/2236911937/Salvage/videos and Green Lantern: http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/tv/Green-Lantern%3A-The-Animated-Series/173730/2236912060/Invasion/vide... and continue to get the Error 6030.

Is there any update to this issue?

Re: Getting Error 6030 when viewing certain videos

Issue is latest release of updates for Silverlight rev 5 issued about 05/13 screws up DRM I think.

ONLY FIX UNTIL MICROSOFT AND COMCAST GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER,  uninstall silverlight ver 5 using control panel go to add or remove programs then remove silverlight.  Go to Microsoft download site and get older version 4.0 Silverlight.  install it and it works just fine.
