New And Repeat Episodes

Is there a way to record only the episodes of a program that you haven't watched yet ? At the bottom of the episode thumbnails, it says WATCHED when you've seen it. If you choose new episodes only, will it NOT record the episodes that normally would be marked as WATCHED ?

the 'watched' flag is not available for selection for automatic series recording but when you have a lot of episodes of a show it is easy to hit the D button on the watched ones and remove them from the DVR.

Hi Spottedfeather, when you set a recording you have options to record new episodes only or new and repeated episodes. You can also follow the advice of (Rustyben) and use the D button on your remote to remove the old episodes from the DVR.
