NHL Center Ice Outage since Oct. 30, 2017 in Seattle

We subscribe to NHL Center Ice and have been able to view this season's games until Monday Oct. 30 when it suddenly went out. Since then, all of the Center Ice channels read "Subscription Service, Sports Pkgs. For ordering information, press info" as if we were not subscribers at all.

When we called Comcast for help, the first customer service rep had us unplug and reset our cable boxes, then she said to take our boxes in to Comcast and exchange them. We thought that wasn't the problem, so when we called back, a different rep said the outage was on the NHL Center Ice side, and the connection would be restored on Oct. 30, by 10pm Pacific Time. It wasn't and now has been 3 days that we aren't able to watch a subscription package that we are paying for.

Reading a different post from earlier in October on the same issue, it seems that the problem was due to a code error. The official employee response was "...our team changed the codes for NHL Center Ice this season..." and "We are now reviewing all of the NHL Center Ice codes for this area to take care of any other cuostmers that may be in this situation."

Could this be happening in the Seattle area also?

Thank you ComcastJoeTru, but we ended up calling back last week and told the customer service agent on the phone to punch in the "new codes" for the season. After being put on hold several times, that's what the problem was and our service was restored.

Were you under the impression you were under "automatic renewal?"  If you thought that was the case, there were problems with that and you may have to call to reinstate Center Ice, that happened to me.  There have been problems with Center Ice, mostly due to blackouts, but ComcastTeds has been able to help solve many of the problems.  Good luck!

Thanks for your reply, kcalccal. Yes, we were automatically renewed and were watching the games just fine until this Monday Oct. 30 when it suddenly went off. Was hoping that a Comcast rep would  provide a solution through this forum, since both reps we contacted by phone were no help at all. But it doesn't look like it. Maybe we'll have to call them again and cancel the service altogether if they can't seem to get it right.
