My dvr wont fast forward

Dvr show won't fast forward, and shows constantly freeze with an error "rdk"

Wish you had typed the error number. It is likely that you have high noise or lower than required signal levels reaching your set top box(es). You can call 800-Comcast and ask the cable TV representative to run the Interactive Troubleshooting Guide Einstein (ITG). The representative will be able to verify signal levels generally. If necessary the representative will schedule a home visit to check signal levels at your set top boxes.

You were in an outage earlier, are you presently getting the same error messages?
