Motorola RnG200n Not Compatible With TV Remote App (iOS)

When I upgraded to Triple Play last week, Comcast provided the Motorola RnG200n box.  I discovered that the Xfinity TV Remote App for iOS will change channels on that box, but will not schedule a recording.  Comcast Customer Support said that the Motorola RnG200n is not fully compatible with the Xfinity TV Remote App for iOS (I have an IPhone 4s running iOS 6.1.2).  Are there any plans to make the RnG200n fully compatible with the Xfinity TV Remote App for iOS in the Washington, DC area?  If so, when.  Also, does Xfinity carry any Any Room DVR's that are currently fully compatible with the Xfinity TV Remote App for iOS.

I just installed this same DVR here in Nashville.  Can anyone tell me if the Remote app or DVR Manager are currently supported here??
