Missing dvr recordings

I just downloaded the xfinity tv app. I have several recordings in my dvr but only 2 showing up in the app.

Check your recordings on the DVR and see if the missing ones from the app are marked "Not available for mobile viewing".  This is some bug that Comcast does not seem to know how to fix.

 

It has nothing to do with content viewing restrictions though, because I can find a scheduled recording that has that message, and reschedule it on the app, and it will record to the app as well.

 

Very frustrating.

 

Also, if you just had cloud added to your account, only recordings that occurred after cloud was added should show up on the app.
