Re: Microsoft Silverlight and Mac

Me neither!  I've downloaded it over and over, seems to be on the computer, but I can only watch clips - no episodes.  Help!

Re: Microsoft Silverlight and Mac

Are you guys getting an error message? If so, what does it say?

Thanks,

Completely uninstall Silverlight and all of its files from your computer and then try installing Silverlight from here:

http://silverlight.dlservice.microsoft.com/download/5/F/4/5F4E029C-77F5-4EC7-B084-E7B180483AFF/10516...

THIS IS FOR MAC USERS ONLY.

Let me know the results.

Re: Microsoft Silverlight and Mac

Mine is working now.  Not sure what happened, but after a couple days it just worked when I next went to watch Showtime.  Maybe getting zen about it and leaving it be for awhile was the ticket?

I did this, the problem persists. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Suddenly, and happily for me, my video playback is now working. By the way, I did nothing to affect this change. Thanks for the help though!

Completely uninstall Silverlight from your computer. Then download and install Silverlight from the appropriate link below:

Mac users

This is a patched version that fixes most video playback issues and gets you out of the "Please install/upgrade Silverlight" loop.

Follow all the on-screen instructions and then try playing videos again. Let me know the results.

Joe

Works just fine on Safari for me, but not on firefox. I'm content to just use safari to watch, but thought this information may be helpful.

There is something in your Firefox that is conflicting with videos from playing.

Try disabling any ad-blocking pop-ups or any other related add-ons or extensions in Firefox and then try again.
