Media Player

 Hi All

I need a bit of help please with the media player settings.

I installed the latest version of Java, Windows, and SilverLight, but media player only works for a few programs.  When it comes to watching on my notebook computer HBO’s Rome, or old westerns like Have Gun Will Travel or Gunsmoke, media play does not work.

The error message I get is: Upgrade your Xfinity Player!   In order to watch On Demand Online videos with "HD-Like" picture quality, you need to install the new Xfinity Player.

Customer Service said to press the down load button on the page, but the only two buttons that appear on that page are:  back to browsing, and parental controls.

How do I download the player please?  Thank you.

Re: Media Player

also make sure you don't have a pop up blocker blocking the window for the download.
