March madness.. subscription needed?

Hello, I just spent a good 45 minutes desperately trying to watch the long beach state game away from the television but it keeps telling me i need a subscription to tbs/tnt... both channels i already have. This is incredibly frustrating, can a comcast tech help me out?>

Re: March madness.. subscription needed?

I had the same experience.

I am a new Xfinity Internat Blast 20 customer.

The web page gives you the impression that you have access.

Example:

http://screencast.com/t/1rpE2W9Cfa9 => http://screencast.com/t/GyRpCipt

But then it asks you to Subscribe and then it sends you to a comcast upsell page.

http://screencast.com/t/aO6CVwDeaDJM => http://screencast.com/t/sAJ8vYaq3

As you can see the path is confusing.

I'm not trying to hate. I just want to know is what I am seeing accurate? I have to pay more? or is it a bug that needs fixing? I didn't buy Xfinity TV because I wanted the Online Sports through Internet Only.  Please explain so I know if I need to add to my budget. Is this by design or a bug that needs some fixing?

Try deleting your cookies and cache and then try again.

If it is still not working, try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Does TBS and TNT work on your Xfinity Cable? What type of box do you have?

I am sorry Rizzile but March Madness games are only available to Xfinity TV Cable customers who get TNT, TBS, and/or TruTV in their home through their TV.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: March madness.. subscription needed?

Thanks for the reply Joe!

I understand the current situation now.

Although I would bet more Xfinity Internet only subscribers expect more streaming options than Xfinity TV subscribers. But I will work on my budget.

Thanks again for the fast response!
