Losing favorites from one TV when it is deleted from the other TV

Losing favorites from one TV when it is deleted from the other TV

We have 2 cable boxes (1 main and 1 smaller) for 2 different TV's in 2 different rooms.  The favorites I set on 1 TV seem to affect the favorites of the other.  If I delete channel 849 as a favorite, I can't go to 848 on the other TV even though it is a favorite on that system.  The 2 boxes seem to be talking to each pther when I was under the assumption they were 2 separate, completely independent systems. As a side note, one TV remote, while in Favorite's mode, cannot show channels higher than 925.  The other cannot show channels higher than 965.  A total refresh of the system changes nothing.  Prior to the new cable boxes, this never happened.  So I suppose that, either, Comcast changed the way the boxes share information or there is something inherently wrong with the boxes or the way they are configured within the cable system.  If anyone else is having this problem, I'm curious as to what the solution (if any) is.  Thanks.

Re: Losing favorites from one TV when it is deleted from the other TV

Hi FhvnEd,

Due to changes in our channel mapping, we had to make a change that caused the coding to remove any channels over channel 1000 from the favorites list. We will be transitioning soon, and the favorites list will be re-coded, and you will then be able to add the affected channels back to your favorites list. I apologize for the inconvenience. As for the boxes you currently have, they are designed to work that way. The smaller box is going to see and mirror anything the main box does and vice versa.
