Live TV on the Internet and Shockwave Flash

I'm trying to watch Live TV in Firefox browser.  Do I need to have Shockwave Flash activated to do so?  Is there an alternative to Shockwave because it's very slow and crashes a lot?  Thanks, Eddie

Re: Live TV on the Internet and Shockwave Flash

Unfortunately, Comcast seems to use Flash for all their streaming applications, with no alternatives. Welcome to the early 2000's.

Thanks.  For the time being, I've set Shockwave Flash to Always Activate.  Then when the video starts playing, I change it to Ask to Activate so it doesn't crop up in other tabs.  Thanks for your help, Eddie
