Re: LOGIN ON YOUR ANDROID

For any Xfinity apps you log with your Xfinity user name and password.

Re: LOGIN ON YOUR ANDROID

you need to login with the primary users login credentials, if you are not the account holder you need to get their credentials

rog is incorrect.

That is totally untrue. You CAN sign in to the TV app and the Xfinity Player app with a SECONDARY user account name.

I can use a secondary account on either of them and it does sign me in.

If one HAS to use the primary account on the apps the ones installed on my Droid did not get the memo stating "primary only".

There is no need to get the primary account holder user name and password.

Re: LOGIN ON YOUR ANDROID

rog, no luck involved. I would not have said you don't need to use the primary account if I had not been sure it works. Perhaps you missed this part of my post (what part do you not understand)

I can use a secondary account on either of them and it does sign me in.

In fact at this very moment I am signed in to TV app on my Droid  with a  secondary account. When I use the apps I NEVER sign in with my primary account. If my phone gets lost or stolen whoever finds/steals it will not be able to get to my Comcast account details if I forget to sign out of the app.

So tell me, if you can, why you insist that only the PRIMARY user can sign in to the app when it is very clear that SECONDARY users can also sign in?  Have you ever tried signing in with a secondary account? Did you read that somewhere and decide "I read it on the internet so it has to be true"? Did you pull the statement out of thin air?  Unlike some who say something without having the facts to back it up I DO have the facts to back up what I say.

If you have an Android phone try it yourself. If you don't have an Android you should not be responding to posts about them.
