Kindle Fire HD app not working

A week ago I was given a Kindle Fire HD, that night I downloaded the Xfinity player app and watched several shows, it worked a week after but now when I attempt to play something I get.  Message that the video cannot be loaded. The Wi-Fi connection is fine and I've re-installed the app but still get the same error.

I'm having a similar problem with a Kindle Fire HD. Xfinity player worked fine for several months until recently. Now when I try to watch something, it will say it's 'starting video' then stops and I get a msg saying "Sorry, we've experienced some difficulty starting your video."


I tried re-installing the app, but it still doesn't work.


Any suggestions?
