Just Upgraded To Limited Basic And Am Unable To Stream.

Hey we have just recently upgraded from just internet to limited basic cable aswell. I thought I was told that I would be able to stream the channels from the internet before the cable box arrives. After upgrading to limited basic I went to stream the channel from the website and it worked for about 5 minutes upon refreshing the page I then recieved this error message:

A subscription is required to watch this channel.
Please call 1-800-XFINITY to add it to your service.

(Error 3329.12012)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bob,

There should be some On Demand content available for you before your box arrives but the Live TV won't be active until then.  Just go to the On Demand: TV or On Demand: Movies sections.  Everything you see there should be playable.

I also recommend you try the XFINITY TV app for your Apple or Android devices.

Enjoy,

ComcastDan
