Is there a way to use Windows Media Player instead of Flash?

The flash player doesn't really work to well when it comes to fullscreen and different resolutions. I was just wondering if I could use a different media player other than flash to view the TV Shows.

Thanks!

Re: Is there a way to use Windows Media Player instead of Flash?

Comcast (and most everybody else) uses Flash because:

1) They have FULL control of the player and what features it has

2) It works with multiple operating systems

3) It is secure

The only other possible player are the growing HTML5 based ones, which will slowly replace Flash.

Yea. Oh well, hope the the HTML 5 ones allow better screen resolution management...
