Internet Explorer Not Playing

Internet Explorer Not Playing

Before, I was getting error code 6002, Now I am getting a screen

that says                  XFINITY

                          obtaining authorization

 

then the screen just freezes at this point.

 

 

Just as before, ABC, NBC & CBS play okay.

 

This happens on starz, hbo, showtime, TRU TBS AMC ... etc

 

Using IE 9 32 bit

 

Just want to say, also as before, everything works the way it should using firefox

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

 

Also, please send the URLs of the videos that you are trying to watch.

Are videos working in other browsers? This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

There is something in IE that is blocking videos from playing. Try disabling all ad-blocking add-ons in IE then try watching a video again.

Turning off popup blocker did not do anything.

 

Turning off protected mode got me past the first screen,

but then I got Error Code 6002 which I was getting when

my problems started a few months back....

 

Not going to bother trying anymore.....
