HBO Go error message from Xfinity

I am an Xfinity customer and HBO subscriber. I've been using HBOGo for more than a year, if not two. When logging into HBOGo as an Xfinity subscriber, I immediately get an error message saying I need to be an Xfinity and HBO subscriber. I AM A SUBSCRIBER TO BOTH!!!! Help!

Re: HBO Go error message from Xfinity

Hbo go uses cookies left from the comcast site to verify you logged into comcast. Can you watch HBO programs on the xfinity tv site using the watch tv tab.  If that works and you logged in recently and you pick comcast/xfinity as your provider hbo go should work.

If you can't watch on the comcast watch tv tab, you need to contact comcast because they haven't coded you account correctly for HBO (that is what people say here on the forums, they call it a coding error)

If you can watch it on the comcast watch tv tab, try logging out of comcast and logging on again to get a good new cookie, then maybe hbo go will work.
