HBO GO wont authenticate with Comcast ID and password

This is my exact issue: http://forums.comcast.com/t5/XfinityTV-Website/HBO-GO-wont-authenticate-with-Comcast-ID-and-password...

I called into comcast's 800 number ... the rep passed me on, which passed me on to another rep, which passed me onto another rep, which couldn't figure it our but gave me the temporary backdoor of http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/. At that point I was frustrated with all they were having me tried as I was trying the same thing over and over ... use your comcast id w/ @comcast.net, use your comcast id w/o @comcast.net, try your primary email you have listed, clear cache cookies, use IE don't use firefox, use signin on HBOGo, use signup on HBOGo, try different workstations ......nothing worked.  Please help in resolving so I get the true HBOGo experience. They indicated on their side they can see I have Xfinity Internet, Xfinity TV and HBO, yet looking at my account overview it lists only Xfinity Internet just like his picture shows: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/819/comcastissue.png/.

Note, my TV is working fine ... I have my cable and HBO.

Re: HBO GO wont authenticate with Comcast ID and password

Beginning of new billing cycle fixed the issue.  I was still not able to get HBOGo as of yesterday, June 1 which was the end of my billing cycle.  Today, June 2 marked the beginning of my new billing cycle.  I could sign up for HBOGo, and can see that I have TV service on the My Accounts tab.  I figured that might have been the issue once I thought it through.  You might want to create a knowledge item so that your tech support can assist when customers have this issue in the future.

Has Comcast really ignored your question for all this time?
