HBO Channel 550 not in HD Seattle Area

How come HBO East is not broadcasted in HD?  Channel 550 is not in HD.  This is a problem because all the hit shows (Game of Thrones, Championship boxing, etc) AIR on HBO East before it Airs on HBO West.  I don't want to wait 3 hours to watch my favorite live event in HD on HBO West.  Showtime and Starz is the exact same way!  This is 2017... every channel should be in HD!

 

Dish, Directv, have all the premiums in HD!  (I know I can watch showtimeanytime and see the live east hd feed in HD)

 

1) No Starz authentication...  in the Starz app there is option to log in with your Xfinity credentials... Why is this so important?  THe lack of live HD premiums that Xfinity offers...

 

2) Can't authenticate via the NFL Network App.  I see just about every other Cable/Sat provider other than Xfinity for the NFL Network App. 

 

3) In 2010 I remember all the premiums broadcasting live in HD, now Xfinity has downgraded its premium selection.  Also why did it downgrade from 1080i? I hear all this talk about 4k but there are still PREMIUM channels broadcasting in standard definition.  WHY IS THE COOKING CHANNEL IN HD yet a PAID SUBSCRIPTION like HBO isn't?
