The following message has been appearing on my TV screen shortly after power on: "Firmware has been updated. Setup new features to complete."

 

How do I get rid of the message?

Sounds like it was your TV taking an update, try exit with your TV remote

Xfinity technical staff determinded problem is due to a failing cable box which will be replaced within 24 hours.
