Favorites Button Gone,

Favorites Button Gone,

I just upgrade from the old lacacy box to X1.  Now I find out that as the technolgy has moved forward, it goes backwards.  I found out that there is no more Favorite button on the remote.  I called tech support and in order to select a Favorite channel now, you have to push 3 or 4 buttons to take you to one channel.  And you have to do this with each Favorite channel you have.  With my old Lacacy box, I had 50 or 60 Favorites channels.  I would hit the Favorite button one time to go to one channel and so on.  Now it is a BIG JOKE what has happened to this feature.  It was a great one and now they take it away.

I am thinking about getting the old Lacacy box back as that meets my needs and has a Favorites button that works with one pucs per channel

If any one knows how I can do that witht he new box please let me know.....

Re: Favorites Button Gone,

Set up your favorite channels just like you did before.

With the Xfinity remote, Xfinity button to Gear Symbol to Preferences to General, scroll down to Default Guide View and press ok, scroll down to Favorites and press Ok. Your guide will now permanently show your favorite channels when you press the guide button, until you change it.
