Favorite Channel settings

When selecting certain channels with both non HD and HD if the HD channel is selected the non HD is also saved as a favorite.  This happens with USA channels and BBC channels, and possibly others.

Is there any way to just select the HD version and not have the non HD channel selected too?

Are you referring to the XFINITY TV App or Xfinitytv.comcast.com/tv-listings?

Also, what is your zip code and service area? I would like to test your TV Listings since I cannot duplicate it with mine.

Thanks,

Re: Favorite Channel settings

I am referring to the XfinityTV app for iPad.  When I set a favorite on certain channels it sets both the nonHD and HD as favorites.  If I try to delete the nonHD as a favorite it also delets the HD and vise versa. My zip code is 98199.  thanks.

I am sorry but I cannot duplicate this.

Please try deleting the app and then re-install it. Let me know the results.

Re: Favorite Channel settings

I deleted Xfinity TV and reinstalled it.  When I ad BBC HD, ch 647, BBC non HD, 162, is also added to the favorites list.  If I delete 162, 647 is also deleted.

The same applies to Syfy.  If I ad ch 676, ch 59 is also added.  If I delete 59, 676 is also deleted.

I think these 2 are the only ones on my favorites that are affected but I have not checked every single channel to verify this.  I can say the USA, ch 58 and 672 does not do this.

Re: Favorite Channel settings

Discovered that you can fix this issue by chosing favorites on the Xfinity website on my computer.
