Exporting Part of a recorded

Exporting Part of a recorded

I am wondering if there is any way to export 2 minutes news segment that I recorded on Tuesday. I was interviewed and a program I was working on was featured and I want to be able to share it on social media but I am not sure how to export the entire 17 minute recording (or better yet the 2 minute segment that my project and I were featured in). Please advise.

You will have to play the recording onto you computer. If you do not know how to do that, there are many video capture devices available. Then you use software to edit.

Easy if you have a Mac.

Thank you for that tip. I will look into the how to videos. Would an iPad work the same as a Mac for editing? Otherwise, I only have a PC running on Windows XP and I have a Google Chromebook.

You can use iMovie on the iPad to edit and save in several shareable formats.

I am not a windows person, but there should be free software to edit on your PC also.
