Error code 102100.5

Error code 102100.5

I am unable to watch any of my recorded shows on my DVR. I have tried watching both on the tv with the main X1 box as well as online from my laptop located in the same house as the tv and main box. Each time I get an error message and to try again in a few minutes. How can I access these recorded shows so that I can watch them?

I am a xfinity customer and I am travelling outside the home network now. When I try to watch anything from On Demand on my android devices or my Laptop running Windows 7, I cannot stream anything. Any suggestions on how to fix this? It worked earlier this week. I have tried different Laptops, differnet browsers and I get the same error on each one. I have also noticed that when I try to stream, for example, Teen Titans Go from on Demand, it starts a live feed on that channel instead of the actual show description that I have chosen. Did the tech department change a streaming method? It shouldn't load a live stream on what is playing now, it should be loading a show that is saved on the cloud DVR of Xfinity instead.

Thanks RobertWy for such a informative link. Just wanted to add that now On Demand seems to have dissapeared from my options on the Xfinity main page. So I believe there is an issue with Xfinity. Any news to this??

On Demand has been changed to Browse (to the right of Live TV)
