Delete your cookies and cache, sign in again, and then try watching ESPN again.

Let me know the results.

Completely remove Adobe Flash Player from your computer and then go here to download it again:

Have you tried uninstalling your Flash Player like mentioned above?

I am sorry, I didn't give you complete instructions.

Please go here and download Adobe Flash Player and then install it on your computer.

Sometimes, a clean uninstall and re-install resolves Flash issues.

Re: Error Code 310

Are all you guys running on Macs??? I called ESPN and they said somebody else called with the same problem and she was running on a Mac probably on comcast as well. I absolutely hate Comcast... it seems like it is the only company producing this error and of course the incompetence of these people knows no bounds... always some unfixable issue with them. Wish I could change providers. Has anybody been able to find a solution to this ridiculous problem.

New Poster

Re: Error Code 310

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm having the same problem.

New Poster

Re: Error Code 310

Nope I've tried everything... it's obviously a comcast issue not a computer issue or adobe flash issue, considering so many people are having the same problem... so until they figure it out I think we are all stuck!

Re: Error Code 310

I had this error code and then downloaded the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and now have Error Code 314.  What is the fix for this?  This service worked on the same computer for me two days ago.

Re: Error Code 310

Same issue.  Tried uninstall/iinstall of Adobe Flash, cleared cache, etc , and tried different browsers.  A lot of people signing up today with the issue.   Could something have changed since the original report in June?  I noticed I got a Windows update yesterday.   Don't know if anything there could be at play..just noticed how many jumped on this thread all in the same day (including me).

Comcast - please help!  Would be helpful if administrator described what a 310 code means in the first place.....

Re: Error Code 310

I have exactly the same problem. I tried install/uninstall flash player. I get the same error code 310. It used work when the US open just started. Now i cannot watch anything. Very disappointing.

Re: Error Code 310

Hi all,

Make sure that you are allowing Flash and Xfinitytv.com to pass through your firewall.

Also, please check your Flash Global Settings and make sure that you are allowing sites to save information on your computer.

Re: Error Code 310

Yep tried that and that. I love how comcast keeps making us do stuff to our computers instead of looking themselves at what they might have done to break the system. Anybody know what the error code means yet as the geniuses at comcast have yet to answer that question. Again to Comcast you are the only service producing this error!!! Non of the other carriers are having this issue. I talked to the guys at ESPN and all the people calling in are comcast users. PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS AND STOP GIVING US FIX THIS ON YOUR COMPUTER COMMENTS!!! obviously they are not working and by now you should have figured out it's not our computers, or Flash, or ESPN.

Re: Error Code 310

The Error Code 310 no longer appears on the screen.

Now I get a screen with Xfinity in red letters with four dots under it that just alternately keep blinking blue.

This is not an improvement.

Make sure that all ad and pop-up blocking is off and that you are allowing Xfinity.com/tv to pass through your firewall.

Re: Error Code 310

this service obviously doesn't work because so many people, like myself, are having problems. it has been going on for at least a year, but every thread on EVERY issue with xfinity says "clear your cache" and "use a different browser". well here's news for u, buddy. THAT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how about you tech reps do something other than cut and paste answers, hoping the problem will fix itself and actually FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Re: Error Code 310

My System:

Original white MacBook, OS 10.5.8.

Comcast

Still can only run WatchEspn remotely in Firefox.

When I tried again in Safari, just to see if it had been fixed, I got a message to update Flash. After update, still no luck. Went back to Firefox, and now got error code 316.

Uninstalled Flash and reinstalled, including reboot. Still error.

It's the new Flash that causes the error for me.

I went to the Adobe site and downloaded an archived Flash Player

Flash Player archives
Release and Content Debugger archives

(Released 3/28/2012) Flash Player 10.3.183.18 (67.3 M

Didn't want to mess with more recent versions, so went back to March to be safe.

Uninstalled the latest Flash and installed the 3/28 release. WatchESPN now works again in Firefox.

Adobe sucks almost as much as Microsoft. Flash is terrible, awful resource hog.

Comcast and WatchESPN are pretty terrible, too.

Re: Error Code 310

I can't get passed this error. I've seen it for the last few months. I've cleared cache multiple times since, uninstalled/installed Flash, updated Flash, and it definitely is not a firewall issue because I can get it on my mobile devices thru the wi-fi connection connected to the same network as the computer I am getting the error on. THE ERROR HAS TO BE ON COMCAST/XFINITY'S END. Please do what you have to do to get this rectified. WatchESPN is one of the main reasons I went to COmcast and if it doesn't work I have no reason to stay.

Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

Also, is this happening to all Live Streaming channels on Xfinity.com/tv?
