Error 11700: Trouble adding device

I'm receiving the following message when logging in to tv.xfinity.com

 

Something's not right here
We are having trouble adding this device to your account. Please call 1-800-XFINITY and mention error 11700.
(Error xacsa.provision.11700: Error)

 

I called on Sunday night and was transferred to 4 different techs and not one of them had a clue what this error meant. Tonight I had the time and patience to search and it's apparently known, but not to the phone support techs. I've learned from these forums that there is apparently some list of PC devices accumulating every time I type in a name when adding a device. Luckily it sounds like this list can be purged by a tech; so please do that for my account. Thank you in advance for your assistance. (This is the first time this error has occurred for me and I've used xfinity streaming for quite some time and before Sunday night, never had an issue.)

I've cleared all the PC devices from your account for you. (You have a lot of them, so it'll take a couple minutes for the operation to complete fully—it's still spinning as I type this. :-)
