ESPN in Shadow Box

Can someone tell me why ESPN is now in shadow box format on both my high def and other TVs?

did you have a power outage and maybe your box reset itself?   if you have a motorola box turn it off and then press menu, in there you can set up options for your tv type.

ESPN's SD feed has been letterboxed for nearly a year. On a widescreen TV, it will be windowboxed. If you have an HD box, make certain you are tuned to the HD channel.
