Device listed as streaming when it's not

I've used the iOS app (iPad an iPhone) to stream Live TV at home and I've noticed that even after I stopped streaming and quit the app, that when I go to manage devices on another device or computer it says that device is still streaming.

The only way I've found to remove that device from the streaming list is to go back on to that device and chose an on demand program, play that and then stop.  After doing that the device is removed from the list of devices currently streaming.

Why doesn't the device get removed from the list of streaming devices when I stop streaming?

No since it's not the downloads that are incorrect.  It's saying a device is streaming, when it's not.
