Not sure if I am in the correct forum or not, but I got here with a search on data usage.

 

Does anyone have a rough figure on data usage for steaming video through the Xfinity mobile app?  I am interested in the amount of data/hour of video for either a movie or TV.  My wife has a Kindle Fire and we are insterested in using the mobile app for videos.  

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I've never seen data usage figures for the app, but maybe this thread on Netflix streaming will give you a rough idea: http://forums.comcast.com/t5/General-Hardware-and-Software/Netflix-Bandwidth-Requirements/td-p/13361.... Your router may have a usage counter that would allow you to measure the amount of data transferred.

 

At the moment the data cap is only relevant in the Tucson and Nashville test markets:
