DVR on Laptop

DVR on Laptop

When trying to watch my recorded shows online the DVR that shows up is not even mine. This listed are not recorded on any box I own. Not sure why I have someone elses DVR

Log into Comcast "My Account" and go to the Services tab.  Then go to the "XFINITY TV" and "XFINITY Internet" links and make sure the equipment listed for your cable boxes and modem match what you actually have in your house.  Check that the serial numbers that are listed on the site match the numbers on the boxes in your house.

 

If anything is a mismatch, which I think you might have, call Comcast and tell them what is wrong.  If not, then I'm not sure what the issue could be.  Good luck.
