DVR Manager problems - DVR Full? iphone app can't delete recordings

I am out of town and I can't seem to clean up any shows on my DVR!  It is showing as 100% full but it won't let me delete any recordings to make space. (On the iOS App)  Also, I have shows set to delete when needed, yet the DVR didn't record the last couple night's shows?


I tried to connect to the DVR Manger on the PC and I get a message saying 


"DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are 
unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household."


What is the deal?  My favorite shows come on tonight!  I need to get into the DVR remotely!  


I have had major problems with Comcast over the last couple months - ever since I got the new triple play modem that was supposed to give me faster internet speeds.  Now my phones cut out, the internet has massive latency, and the new problems are that I won't have my shows to watch when I get back from my trip.  This is all extremely disappointing .
