This is a user to user forum, no one here can reset your dvr.

What is the make and model of your dvr?  If its a SA or Cisco box dvr manager is not in all areas but will be as comcast says by the end of march.  if you have a Motorola box you should have it, if it does not work you will have to call comcast.

Thanks!  I do have DVR Manager, it just crapped out 2 days ago.  I've called comcast support twice, but still isn't working.

ok that is different.

go here then to manage cable boxes and dvrs, what does it say there?

http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/mytv/settings

if it looks ok there you can go to your cable box then to box set up and look for remote access set up, if you press ok there you will get a delete sign, you can go ahead and delete the set up there then go back and synch again.

Are you trying to do this from your computer or from the app?  if its the app you should sign out clear cookies and cache then restart the device then sign back in and try.  if none of this works PM comcast Joe and he will have comcast look at your account.

You could also unplug the box to reset and see if that does anything.

Manage Cable Boxes and DVR's says 'TV Control is not activated for this account'

I'm doing this from my pc.  Comcast had me turn off the dvr and unplug it for 1 minute last night.  He said he was going to do a download to my dvr that would last for 45 minutes or so.  When I got up this morning, still no dvr manager available.

Thanks for the assist.

Doesn't comcast monitor these forums?  They should be proactive.  I left the dvr box on when I left for work this morning thinking I could get them to do-their-voodoo ..... silly me.

Is this issue still occurring? If so, I will be able to help you.
