DVR Manager and AnyRoom

DVR Manager and AnyRoom

I live in charleston SC and have a Cisco RNG200 DVR box. When I try to use the DVR manager it tells me it is available in my area but they were unable to detect a comparable DVR. I have called Comcast and had a tech come out to install the additional card that was needed but of course theycouldn't. I guess I need a RNG200N DVR and pay for AnyRoom?  Can someone confirm this?  I'm tired of getting different answers but still not being able to use the DVR manager features. Please help!

DVR Manager is expected to be available to all of our Scientific-Atlanta and Cisco branded DVRs by the end of the year. 

We have already started the site by site activation (DVR Manager requires some additional new guide software and some infrastructure to be activated).

Joe,

 

  I appreciate the quick response.  I have 3 questions for you:

1. How can someone know if they are in the available market? 

2. Is the DVR manager part of the everyday COMCAST serivce or does it require the AnyRoom service? 

3. Will the DVR box need to have the M-Card (Multi-stream CableCARD) for the 2.0 upgrade?
