DRV Recording & Playback issues

I've recorded shows and noticed that it doesn't record the entire show, it records a portion, then when I watch the recording I get an error and the DRV asks "would you like to continue with the show" or something to that effect.  Sometimes I don't get that option, depending on how old the recording is so I miss the recording.  There was not an interuption in service because I have other recordings at the same date/time that are fine.  This happens probably 10-20% of my recordings. 


I also get an error message that starts w/ RDK that freezes my DVR/Receiver.  I have to unplug my DVR and have the entire system reset.  This probably happens 2-4 times a month.


I have the X1 DVR and I don't know if these are an X1 specific problem or a comcast problem.
